WHAT ARE ESTHETIC COMPOSITE FILLINGS?

Zirconia is a white material that replaces the gray metal in porcelain crowns and bridges. With PFMs, it is possible to have a purple-ish color on the part where crown meets the gum which will never happen with a zirconia crown. Thanks to its translucency, natural tooth appearance is achieved. It is non-allergenic. It is more beneficial for systemic health compared to PFMs. It is a reliable material which will not cause bad taste, gingival problems or halitosis.
