CEREC is a software where teeth are digitally scanned and 3D impression is taken, transported to computer and digitally designed according to the required treatment. After the digital scanning and designing, the manufacturing of the restoration takes place via 3D printers (cad-cam supported milling devices). These restorations are manufactured from porcelain, zirconia, and composite and gets ready for the implementation.

In Sahinsev clinic, we use an imaging system which provides a real panoramic image with its high-resolution sensor. Panoramic X-Ray offers a comprehensive medical image necessary for detecting dental treatment needs.
Panoramic X-Ray is a two-dimensional dental x-ray examination that captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures and tissues. The jaw is a curved structure similar to that of a horseshoe. However, the panoramic x-ray produces a flat image of the curved structure. It usually provides details of the bones and teeth.
Unlike a traditional intraoral x-ray where the film/x-ray detector is placed inside of the mouth, the film for a panoramic x-ray is contained inside of the machine.
In our clinic, the panoramic X-ray can be taken if necessary in order to receive the medical image of the teeth and the jaw where small details could be visualized and be evaluated for the treatment.
EMS PM200 Ultrasonic Scaler Device
Ultrasonic dental scaler is used for removing dental calculus from the tooth surface which accumulates over time. Ultrasonic scaling is a rapid solution tested by many dentists for the removal of hard deposits as well as bacteria, plaque and tartar.
In ultrasonic scaling, only the tip of the tool touches the tooth surface, and only for a short time. It’s also possible to remove deposits of plaque and tartar from under the gum line by using an extremely small tip on an ultrasonic unit, which can cause less discomfort and result in a deeper and better cleaning. The tiny tip of the ultrasonic scaler vibrates rapidly to blast away the plaque and calculus from the tooth surface. A small stream of water which emerges near the tip of the scaler is called lavage. Lavage is used to cool the ultrasonic scaler’s tip and flush away the debris from the area being treated. The vibrating tip causes some of the water to break into millions of tiny bubbles, an effect called cavitation. This ruptures the walls of bacterial cells and helps create an environment that’s less hospitable to harmful bacteria.
