It is known that heat or pressure alone is not sufficient for sterilization in dentistry sterilization. What is important is that heat and pressure are applied simultaneously for a certain period of time. In addition, many leading institutions, especially the World Health Organization (WHO), recommend the use of autoclaves in sterilization processes.

Burs used in the patient’s mouth are kept in chemical disinfectant liquid after each use.
The light source, patient chair, air-water syringe, headgear and all surfaces that the physician and assistant may have touched during treatment are meticulously wiped and disinfected with chemical disinfectants after each patient.
Disposable products are preferred to prevent cross-infection. Disposable products such as paper cups, saliva ejectors, patient gowns, gloves, and anesthesia needles are thrown away immediately after each use.
